THE MUSICIANS THE DANCERS
DAVID PINTO (UK):  (Music Director, Conductor and Arranger)  Musician, composer, arranger and co-producer for Tango Fiesta, David’s keyboard work is legendary, but he is fast becoming as well known for his development of the TVI Music software which empowers blind composers and musicians around the world, including the late, great Ray Charles.

ALEX ACUÑA (Peru):  Percussionist, producer, composer and Grammy nominee, Alex’s innovative combination of South American and Caribbean rhythms make him, according to Zan Stewart of the Los Angeles Times, “the epitome of the world music percussionist, to whom no style is a stranger.”

JUSTO ALMARIO (Colombia):  One of the tops in his field, Justo’s credits as an alto and soprano saxophonist and flutist, include work with Placido Domingo and Jennifer Lopez. Most recently, Justo paired with his friend, legendary Peruvian drum master, Alex Acuña to form a jazz ensemble called “Tolu.”

DANNY PAPAKALOS (Greece):  Danny’s Bouzouki is fresh and lively, evocative of the romance of the mainland and islands of Greece. To hear Danny play tango music is to hear tango as it might have been played for “Zorba, the Greek” or “Topkapi” or “The Tempest.”

FEDERICO RAMOS (Uruguay):  Freddy’s outstanding guitar performances have been featured in numerous recordings, TV and film scores and he has collaborated with such artists as Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Milton Nascimento, Cheb Mami, Jackson Browne, Dionne Warwick and Elton John.
