Herman originally hails from Gallup, New Mexico, but has lived in Los Angeles since he was a teenager.  After a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, Herman started pursuing higher education in earnest, leading to such varied occupations as teacher, guidance counselor and even truant officer in 62 different schools and 5 different regions within the Los Angeles Unified School District.  Since his retirement from the Los Angeles School District, Herman has been the project coordinator for American British Music Productions and Tango Fiesta is, in large part, the happy result of his efforts!
